| A person qualifies for Regular Membership in the
Scottsdale Bar Association if he or she is currently in good standing with the
State Bar of Arizona (and is not under current suspension or disbarment in any
jurisdiction) and meets any one of the following criteria (please check all

Maintains an office for the active practice of law in the City of Scottsdale,
the Town of Paradise Valley, the Town of Cave Creek, the Town of Carefree, or
the Town of Fountain Hills; or

Is a member of the judiciary of any such municipality; or
|
|
|
Is an employee of any governmental agency whose office is located in any such municipality; or
|
|
|
Is an in-house counsel for an organization whose office is located in any such municipality; or
|
|
|
Is a dean or faculty member of a law school located in Maricopa County.

Directory and Area of Practice Survey
The Scottsdale Bar Association periodically publishes a Directory and Area of
Practice Survey, which is provided to all member for referral purposes. It is
also distributed to certain local organizations such as libraries and Chambers
of Commerce. Information provided in this application and the attached Area of
Practice Survey Form will be included in the directory, except for personal
information such as home address, home phone and spouse name (designated by an
asterisk*.) Such information is provided for Board use only. You will be given
an opportunity to update the information on file before the Directory and Area
of Practice Survey is published.
Silent Partner Program
The Silent Partner Program allows members of the Scottsdale Bar Association
who agree to participate in the program to be designated as Silent Partners in
the Area of Practice Survey. Silent Partners agree to be available to other
members of the Scottsdale Bar Association for short, free telephone
consultations in the areas of practice in which they concentrate. Please
indicate on the attached Area of Practice Survey Form if you would be willing
to participate in the Silent Partner Program.
